2026 No Cost Summer Meal Dates

New to Skyview families, this event is for you. We would love to meet you in person and let you look around before Back to School Night in August.

Mrs. Voth and her second-grade students enjoyed some time outside this week to dive into hands-on science adventures. We really love this time of year when teachers can make learning fun and interactive while students get to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the fresh air.

Mrs. Butcher gave our second and third grade students a fun chance to create their own mini golf courses! Once they finished their designs, the kids headed to the gym with Coach Rios, where their friends got to play on the courses they made. It's wonderful to see our teachers come up with such engaging activities that promote teamwork and show everyone—kids and adults alike—how collaborating can be so rewarding!

Time to Thunder Up Skyview!

Last week, Skyview Buddies had such a great time celebrating Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month with a fun-filled field day. I hope you enjoy these photos of them having a blast in the beautiful weather and showing off their teamwork. Isn’t Skyview a truly special place to be part of?

Your feedback matters. Please take a minute to complete this short survey for Sodexo. With these results, we will continue to improve our Child Nutrition program to ensure your student(s) are getting the proper nutrition during the school day. Thank you in advance!

Tomorrow night, make plans to take the night off from cooking and doing dishes. Pizza Inn is hosting Skyview Give Back for purchases made all day, just mention what classroom you are there with so that your class has a chance to win a free pizza buffet.

Still tired from springing forward?
Take the night off from cooking and doing dishes, come join Skyview for PTO Give Back night TONIGHT at Pizza Inn. Make sure to mention your child's teacher, the class with the most participation will receive a free buffet and the teacher will earn a gift card.

Looking for a fun night out with the family, come and play BINGO this Saturday and support our High School Seniors!

Last week, the Skyview staff participated in a series of themed days focused on hidden teacher themes. Several students noticed the activities and asked questions. It was enjoyable to respond thoughtfully while maintaining the element of surprise. We hope you enjoy some of our submitted photos.

Happy Valentine's Day! Yesterday was such a lovely day to celebrate the wonderful students and staff we’re lucky to spend our days with! We held grade-level class parties where everyone exchanged valentines and treats—so much fun! A special highlight was the handmade valentines from Mrs. Vincent’s class, where students got to write heartfelt messages to any teacher they chose and deliver them in person. It was a beautiful way to strengthen our connections and spread some kindness!

Mrs. Ellis' lively second-grade class has been having fun today with their mountain models in science, exploring how rain helps create those flowing rivers we see on Earth's surface!

Happy Counselor Appreciation Week!
Here at Skyview, we’re so lucky to have such an amazing and dedicated professional like Ms. Rundle on our team. She’s always kind, thoughtful, and puts a positive spin on everything—her kindness and caring nature make our school a warmer, more welcoming place for everyone. We just want to give a huge thank you to her for all the hard work and heart she puts into supporting us. We truly appreciate you, Ms. Rundle!

Good Morning Skyview!
We are super thrilled to inform you that after those endless snow days, we are FINALLY back in school. So a quick update—forget about celebrating the 100th day of school today, we will celebrate on the ACTUAL 100th day, next Friday, February 6, 2026. Because clearly, being in charge of the weather to control this is not our thing, LOL. If your child's class has some “exciting” activities lined up, don’t worry they will send out that information to you soon. Welcome back, we are so happy to see everyone here today!
