There's nothing better than being able to bring your favorite stuffed animal to school! Yesterday at Central our students had the chance to bring their very own plushie from home. It was so fun getting to see who brought what and why it was special to them. 🧸👏

Senator Jack Stewart visited Ranchwood Elementary to read to our 2nd and 3rd graders! We loved having you as our special guest, Senator! Thank you for stopping by!

Tomorrow is our first Snack Day of the school year. If you've purchased a PTO Snack Card, no action is needed. If not, send $10 in an envelope or baggie with your child's name, teacher's name, and "Snack Card" so their teacher will know what the money goes to. This will cover snacks and popcorn for the entire year.

Alternatively, you can send $1 tomorrow for two snacks to be delivered to their classroom.

Thanks to Coach Rios and his dedicated efforts, Skyview is proud to have achieved "EXCELLENCE" as a Certified Healthy School. This is the highest level of recognition for having effective systems in place to promote healthy living. Last week, Coach Rios was presented with the awards to share with everyone at the school. We're excited to share that this is our sixth consecutive year receiving this distinguished honor. What an amazing place Skyview Elementary is!

Tonight is The Event hosted by YPS to celebrate all of our current Teachers of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, and Support Staff of the Year. Additionally, this evening will feature the announcement of the district Teacher of the Year from our building winners. Mrs. Moy, you are truly exceptional, and we are very proud of you!

To celebrate The Event this Thursday, we're excited to take a moment to highlight some of the wonderful qualities we truly appreciate about our esteemed Mrs. Moy. She, along with the other Teachers of the Year from Yukon Public Schools, will be celebrated alongside their friends and family. Plus, The Event will mark the announcement of the district’s Teacher of the Year, chosen from these amazing candidates, as well as honoring our Support Staff of the Year and our Rookie Teacher Of the Year!

Our YHS Winter Guard held a fundraiser raffle partnered with Kate Myers from Beef for the Bank nonprofit (Lomega FFA). Through their fundraising, they helped donate 100+lbs of beef to the Mana Pantry and also helped raise much needed funds for the Winter Guard program! They helped deliver and organize the beef during their Spring Break. We are so proud of these girls! Way to go, Millers! #YPSProud #GoMillers
